Yam Ki Chan is a graduate student at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) specializing in international finance and economic policy and China’s banking and microfinance industry. He was recently a Council of Alumni for Social Enterprise (CASE) fellow at China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation’s Microfinance Institution, China’s largest microfinance institution.

Prior to Columbia, Yam Ki explored the nooks and crannies of China while working at a socially-responsible boutique travel company in Beijing. He also worked as an investment banker where he advised technology companies in mergers & acquisitions, public offerings, and private placements.
